Hand Contour Drawing
Due Date: September 14
Step One: Practice a few hand contour drawings in your sketch books.
Step Two: Using plain white paper or coloured paper draw 3 different expressive hand drawings. The drawings should be the same size as your own hand. If you have drawn on white paper you should colour the hands. Please outline the contours of the hand using black marker and cut out each hand.
Step Three: Background- on a new piece of medium sized paper draw a pattern for your composition. You can make one up and borrow ideas from magazines. You may use any medium of your choice for the background.
Step Four: Place the hands on the background in a way that you think is dynamic, and glue them down.
Step Five: Reflect on your work by answering the following questions:
1. What part of your finished project did you find most successful and why?
2. What part of your finished project did you find least successful and why?
3. If you had to do this project, what part would you change or improve on and why?
